American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009
On February 17, 2009, President Obama signed into law the $790 billion economic recovery bill, the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009. The law reshapes the economic outlook for the entire nation and affects the nonprofit and philanthropic sector by making dollars and new program opportunities available to the sector.
