James P. Kastenholz
James P. Kastenholz is the CEO of Kastenholz Construction Services, LLC. Under his leadership, the company’s accomplishments include Owners Representative and Project Manager for $25MM development of 100 units of affordable for sale homes, Owners Representative for $15MM Historic Renovation and Conversion of Lake Front Mansion and Owners Representative for $20Million expansion and renovation to Domestic Violence Shelter. Prior to Kastenholz Construction Services, James founded and was President of TH Services, LLC, a maintenance, repair, and general contracting service that grew into a $5Million annual revenue business with 17 employees.
James’ involvement in the community includes serving as Board Chair for Chicago Voyagers, and as a Committee member on the Eagle Scout Board of Review, as well as Scoutmaster, Committee Chair, and Eagle Scout Coach. He is a former Board member of the Chicago Children’s Museum, the Old Town School of Folk Music, and the Lincoln Park 2550 Condominium Association.
James holds a B.S. degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Colorado and a MBA from Duke University, Fuqua School of Business. He also earned a General Course Certificate-International and Monetary Economics – from the London School of Economics and Political Science. His notable awards include the General Contracting for Historic Single-Family Northshore residence – Best Historic Renovation Award.
James currently resides in Chicago with his wife Jennifer Steans and their son, Nicholas.
